Logistics

The practical session for this course is taught at the Oregon State University-Cascades campus in Bend, OR. Simulation sites are a short walk from the classroom.

Nearest Airport: Redmond Oregon (RDM)
Lodging: Numerous hotels and Air BnBs are available in Bend. See visitbend.com for complete listings.
Camping: Dispersed camping available on National Forest land around Bend. (It could be really chilly, or not.)
Classroom:
The classroom is located on the Oregon State University Cascades campus in Bend, OR in Tykeson Hall room 111 (see campus map above).
Meals: Bring lunch and snacks. The Obsidian Dining Hall will be open for lunch and dinner. There are numerous restaurant and grocery store options within close proximity to campus.
Parking: Free parking is available along Chandler Ave and on weekends. Campus parking is $4/day during the week and free on weekends. Click here for information about other campus parking options.
